I’m working on a new collection of pieces that resemble constellations.
The idea began as part of a larger awards project tied to a fundraiser for Ride for Pride.
At its core, the project is about people coming together in support of a common cause. Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different lives intersecting for a moment with shared purpose.
The glass became the metaphor.
Separate fragments. Different colors. Different textures. Each piece carrying its own history.
Then heat. Pressure. Transformation.
At some point, the sharp edges begin to soften and the line between the individual pieces starts to disappear. What was once many becomes something unified — not erased, but connected.
Like constellations.
Separate stars becoming part of a larger story.
