Jeanette Adams-Price

Hey Everyone!
On June 20, I’ll be riding 50 miles in Ride for Pride to raise money for the Center for Youth’s Arnett House in Rochester, NY, that provides housing, safety, and support for homeless LGBTQ+ youth and young people escaping trafficking.
Every young person deserves a safe place to sleep, supportive adults, and the chance to build a future without fear. Arnett House works every day to provide emergency housing, resources, advocacy, and stability for youth who too often have nowhere else to turn.
I’m riding because this work matters deeply, especially right now. LGBTQ+ youth experience homelessness at disproportionately high rates, often because of family rejection, discrimination, or unsafe living situations. Homeless youth are also at far greater risk of trafficking, violence, and mental health struggles.
At a time when many vulnerable young people are facing increased fear and uncertainty, places like Arnett House provide critical support, housing, affirmation, and safety. This isn’t just about shelter; it’s about protecting lives and giving young people the opportunity to survive and thrive.
Please consider supporting my ride and helping Arnett House continue this lifesaving work. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Thank you for supporting me, Ride for Pride, and the young people who deserve to know they are valued, protected, and never alone.
If you’d like, please share a message about why you chose to donate. I’ll print your notes and carry them with me in my saddle bag during the ride, so your encouragement and support will be with me every mile along the way.
With gratitude-
Jeanette
