This year marks the 11th annual Ride for Pride, and I’m proud to be hosting this 50-mile bike ride once again. The ride begins and ends at our home, continuing a tradition that has become incredibly meaningful over the years. While I may not be riding, I’m honored to help bring this event together in support of a cause I care deeply about.

In 2026, we’re fundraising to support the Center for Youth in Rochester, NY, specifically their LGBTQ+ programming. This includes initiatives like the Big Queer Prom and the Arnett House—both of which provide vital support, safe spaces, and affirmation for LGBTQ+ youth in our community.

I’ve supported LGBTQ+ causes in the past, but right now, that support feels more urgent than ever. Across the country, there are increasing political and social efforts that directly impact the safety, mental health, and basic rights of LGBTQ+ individuals—especially young people. For many of these youth, programs like those at the Center for Youth aren’t just helpful—they are lifelines. They provide acceptance where there may be rejection, safety where there may be risk, and community where there might otherwise be isolation.

That’s why this ride matters. It’s not just about a tradition or an event—it’s about standing up, showing up, and making sure these young people know they are not alone and that their community is behind them.

That’s why I’m hosting this ride—and why I’m asking for your help. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to support this event and the incredible work being done by the Center for Youth:
