This year will be my sixth Ride for Pride and third as co-organizer. I am honored to raise funds for the Center for Youth, an amazing organizations in Rochester that supports our city’s youth, especially LGBTQ+ youth. The Center for Youth is instrumental in providing a safe space for youth. This is particularly important for our LGBTQ+ youth who are more likely to face bullying, discrimination, be rejected by their family and faith communities, and have a higher suicide rate than non-LGBTQ+ youth.
