9 years ago I took part in my first Ride for Pride to raise money to support LGBTQ+ causes in my community. That first ride for me seemed was a tough, hilly 50 miles but was so worth it! The following year I rode again and it was an even better experience (especially since I trained for the hills). Sadly, R4P took a hiatus but it is back and I’m taking up the challenge again! We are raising money to support The Center for Youth‘s services for LGBTQ+ teens in the Rochester area. My own children benefitted from support programs for LGBTQ+ youth, and honestly they made such a difference in their lives. I’m very excited to help support The Center for Youth and all that it does.
